Precision Instruments and Services understands that to perform a surgical procedure properly that you must not only have the proper surgical instruments but that the instruments have to be within OEM specifications to perform properly.
To aid in accomplishing this task we offer over 160+ standard surgical instrument repair services. With every repair our absolute objective is to bring the surgical instrument so that it is either meets or exceeds OEM standards.
Our repair facility has extended capabilities to provide glass bead surface treatments, machine custom parts, powder coat, gold plate, insulate, laser weld, diamond dust, Ultrasonic clean, laser etch and acid etching.

At Precision Instruments and Services every single instrument that is repaired goes through an additional Quality Control inspection to ensure that the instrument is within the recommended OEM specifications. With every repair service that is performed we offer a 90 day unconditional guarantee. Any instruments that are found to have been repaired improperly or do not work properly after repairs were performed will be evaluated and repaired or replaced, at Precision Instruments and Services discretion, at no charge.
Every repair that comes into the repair facility is quoted based an initial repair assessment. Once it is determined what the repair will cost the customer is contacted for approval to proceed. If the repair exceeds 50% of the instruments retail cost the customer is given the option to replace the item with a comparable item.

Repair Replacement Program
At Precision Instruments and Services if our repair estimate exceeds 50% of the instruments retail cost or it has been determined that the item has been damaged beyond repair our customers are given the option to replace the item with a comparable new item. It is important to have a comprehensive repair/replacement program to maintain efficiencies at the repair level. Due to our extensive surgical instrument product line it is very easy for our team to match up both a comparable type, quality and priced instrument that needs to be replaced.
